Guide · eucalyptus leaves
A bowl of hot water and a handful of eucalyptus leaves is one of the oldest home steams for a blocked nose during a cold. Here is how to do it with fresh or dried leaves, and when to skip it.
Fresh leaves give a sharper smell. Dried leaves are easier to store and still work well in steam. Our fresh leaves come from young 2 to 3 month plants, and our dried leaves are shade dried to keep their aroma.
This guide is general information, not medical advice.
Fresh eucalyptus leaves are picked after you order and shipped across India, with cash on delivery.
About 10 to 15 fresh leaves or 1 tablespoon of dried leaves in 1 litre of hot water.
You can reheat the same leaves once on the same day. Use fresh leaves the next day.
Keep fresh leaves in the fridge in a paper bag and use them within a week. Keep dried leaves in an airtight jar away from sunlight.
